Edinburgh inspiring Capital www.edinburgh-inspiringcapital.com & www.edinburghbrand.com – Launched in May 2005, as the official Brand site for Edinburgh City Region to promote the capital throughout the world, Innovation Digital worked closely with the Edinburgh Inspiring Capital team to develop these two different but complementary websites. The main Edinburgh Inspiring Capital site was created to showcase Edinburgh City Region as a destination in which to live, invest, visit and study and to signpost a range of target audiences to all the information they may need if considering coming to the city. The Edinburgh Brand business-to-business site was launched in June 2008 to give users unrestricted access to images and brand materials for their marketing activities, as well as unrestricted access to images and brand materials for their marketing activities.
Aggreko PLC www.aggreko.com – As the international leader in the rental of power, temperature control and oil-free compressed air systems, Aggreko is headquartered in Glasgow, has more than 2,000 employees and operates from over 100 locations in 28 countries. Innovation Digital worked closely with Aggreko to understand the company’s business objectives for the website, its product strengths and target audiences. Launched in September 2007 there are now 19 websites worldwide, in over 10 different languages. Innovation Digital has continued to work closely with Aggreko to provide a range of services including online marketing planning and implementation, Immediacy training for users worldwide, and user training in search engine optimisation and web copywriting.
The Weir Group PLC www.weir.co.uk – The Weir Group is a truly worldwide business employing over 9,000 people in 3 divisions across the globe. Launched in December 2008, Innovation Digital worked with The Weir Group to deliver four new company websites - a corporate website, plus three sector based websites. The new Weir Group websites integrate Google Maps to plot office and service locations throughout the world; RSS news feeds, and interactively received Share prices. Prior to the website launch, Innovation Digital trained Weir Group staff from countries across the globe on how to use the CMS. Two two-day training sessions, which took place in Glasgow, were attended by staff from the UK, France, Italy, Netherlands, Canada, North America, USA, China, Chile, United Arab Emirates and Australia.
Forest Holidays www.forestholidays.co.uk – Re-launched in February 2009, this public private initiative is aimed at promoting its 5 Cabin sites and 21 Caravan and Camping sites across England, Scotland and Wales, operating entirely within the Forestry Commission estate. Having undertaken a full usability review of their existing site Innovation Digital helped Forest holidays develop a new online strategy leading to the launch of the new site this year. With a continued role in implementing their digital strategy we are now working to improve the online booking process and provide ongoing online marketing consultancy services.
Gas Safe Register – On April 1st 2009, Gas Safe Register replaced CORGI gas registration as the official gas safety body for the UK. The launch of this new high profile public body, operated by the Health and Safety Executive, coincided with the launch of their new website, developed using Immediacy, by Innovation Digital.
