150% increase in donations for Scottish animal charity.
Scottish SPCA approached us with plans to develop a new website and digital strategy that would take their online activity to the next level. By developing a new and improved site and supporting this with a focused PPC strategy, we were able to increase online revenue by 57% and increase traffic and engagement across all channels.
With a website in need of a refresh, the organisation was experiencing declining online results. Their pay per click approach wasn’t delivering any ROI and there was no clear focus on online donations. Our job was to work with their team to refocus their digital channels and help to drive all important donations for the charity.
We worked closely with the Scottish SPCA to roll out a combination of online activities that would complement the great offline work being managed by their team. The aims were to:
- Maximise Scottish SPCA’s revenue through a new PPC strategy that carefully balanced ad budgets, spend and campaigns across both their own brand and Google Grant AdWords accounts
- Continually monitor and review the website using an array of tracking, targeting and testing tools to recommend and implement changes to increase conversion
This was all in addition to the full design and build of a new donations focused website that was set up to both maximise and analyse conversions.
We are continually seeing fantastic progress year on year with increases across the board. Conversion rate has increased significantly, as has transaction volume, quantity and revenue. We now have a solid pay per click strategy in place and revenue from this channel has increased a huge 1,386% year on year.
The result is an organisation that now has a new found focus and appetite to use digital as a key revenue driver for the charity.
