Umbraco is our Open Source Content Management Solution of choice. Umbraco utilises the Microsoft. NET framework, operates on a windows-based web-server platform and integrates with Microsoft SQL Server.

Easy to use
The system is designed to be as simple as possible, based on well-known content management practices. The focus is your content, not Umbraco, which makes updating your site easy and efficient for all users. Site pages are displayed in a tree view and creating new content pages is as simple as right-clicking the parent page or the create button that remains visible at all times. To edit a page's content, simply select that page in the tree view and when you're done, click Save or Publish (to make the changes visible for website visitors).

Enterprise Level CMS
Umbraco offers all the benefits of an Enterprise Level Web Content Management System, but being open source, it has none of the licence costs. This does not mean however that it is not supported and has an active and fast-growing community of devoted developers worldwide.
